Stampers By The Dozen - Celebrating Parents

Happy Saturday! It's time for another monthly edition of the Stampers By the Dozen Blog Hop!
While the world is feasting their eyes and celebrating the Royal Wedding, this month's theme is celebrating parents!  Last Sunday here in the United States was Mother's Day and coming up in June is Father's Day.  While my dad passed away in 2010, my Father in Law is alive and this card is a perfect one to send to him!

I wanted to highlight the retiring Truly Tailored bundle.  While the punch will be staying in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog, this great and manly set is retiring at the end of this month.  I was so very sad to hear that it was because it is the perfect addition to any stampers catalog with many manly stamp options.

This card is perfect for any occasion from birthday to anniversary to letting anyone know to have a Dapper Day!  Unfortunately the coordinating True Gentleman Designer Series Paper has sold out, but this simple card can use any type of patterned paper in a variety of colors.  I used the Stitched Shape Dies and Night of Navy ink to tie in the card base and a Crumb Cake layer.  The Night of Navy Corduroy Ribbon is the perfect accent of texture.
