Stampers By The Dozen September 2017 Hop- Leaves, Branches & Trees!

It's Friday and time for the Stampers By The Dozen September Hop!  This month's theme is leaves, branches, and trees!

This month I wanted to showcase a stamp set from the Annual Catalog that is one of my favorites, Sheltering Tree!  I love the versatility of this set.  Its perfect for year round stamping and can be used for all four seasons.  My favorite aspect of this stamp set is that it layers.  You can add the swing, lean the bike up against the tree, or make it look like a winter scene with the tiny snowflakes stamp.

This Year of Cheer Designer Series Paper has to be one of my favorite papers from the Holiday Catalog.  I love the Gold, Silver, and Bronze shine the papers have and this plaid design is my favorite from the pack.  I flipped over a Foil Snowflake to show the versatility of the backside of these and embossed my tree using Gold Embossing Powder.  For an extra pop of gold, I used Gold Foil Sheet and a some gold washi tape from the Year of Cheer Washi Tape Pack.

The best part of this card is that it can be used for multiple occasions from birthday, to thank you, to the theme that is never fun to make, sympathy cards.  This card would be perfect for an upcoming class, but the skill level would be best for moderate stampers as the embossing can be challenging for some beginner stampers.

Now that you have reached the end of the hop, make sure to swing back around to Rachel Pines link by clicking HERE or by clicking the next button below!
