Buon Anno 2014! Happy New Year!

Buon Anno (for my readers who know Italian), or in English, Happy New Year! 2013 brought some great memories, some sadness, joy, and triumphs.  While I know that 2014 will be wonderful, I can’t wait for trips we already have planned, seeing my husband when he comes home from his deployment THIS month, and much much more!

In 2013, I celebrated 5 years being married to my husband! Wow does the time fly!

I traveled to Rome, Venice, Prague, Munich (twice), Manchester, Cinque Terre, Vinci, Pisa, Florence, and more.  I saw sites like the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Coloseum in Rome, the Trevi Fountain, Oktoberfest in Munich, Christmas markets, kayaking on Alpine mountain lakes, and Venice canals…and have been starstruck by everything I have seen and experienced.

2014 has trips to Rome in February, Edelweiss Resort in Garmish, Germany in May, back home to the states also in May, a cruise to the Greek Islands in September, Brussels in October, many kayaking trips, and much much more that hasn’t even been dreamed/planned.  I can’t wait to explore these places in our last full year of living in Italy!
